It is a deepest dream of mine to be able to own & drive a mini kawaii Hello Kitty car around….

Awwwwwww…….. But of course, it would take a heck loads of courage to do that. Currently I take my boyfriend’s bike (Honda SuperFour) everyday and I have been eyeing the Hello Kitty helmet but really…. Scared scared… I dun dare to wear. (It is sold at the Chinatown Point store btw)

(It really is impossible to wear them anyway; 2 reasons (1) Not approved in Singapore (2) Just way too OVER)

Then my boyfriend gave me another idea. He bought me a super nice Shoei white helmet (Which costed a bomb too) and suggested to me to stick a pretty Hello Kitty sticker on it… Hahahahahaha…. Good try… But I can’t bear to do that on my Shoei…

Anyway… one day I saw this white car at Maxwell Road near to my then-office and it has this big Hello Kitty face on its front! My friend also emailed me some really COOL Hello Kitty cars in which I wanted to quickly share with all the Kitty lovers… You might just find some interesting & inspiring ideas from them

Guess which is my favorite!

This is the car @ Maxwell Although I love Hello Kitty... But I must say that this car is SUPER UGLY!!! NICE! Wah... How to drive??? Is this a mobile Hello Kitty Gallery / Museum??? This one has just the right color matching... But.. What's with the flowers on the wheel ??? so-so... WAH! Too powering... The color... THIS IS MY FAVORITE!!! Look at the fur!!!

IODataHelloKitty256MB.bmpI just spolit my 128MB thumb drive (Which was totally not enuff to use btw) in which I got for about 2 years ago??? Anyway… Needed to get a new one badly and I was searching through the web to see if I could get for myself a Hello Kitty one… (Singapore’s stores do not carry… Damn…) And these are cute!!!

As far as I know, this drive has an integrated light that is illuminated when plugged-in.

It also has an attached sliding cover, which is convenient because it’s impossible to lose and it keeps the USB connector clean.

But of course, the most important thing about it is that it has Hello Kitty on it. Hee hee hee…

I found another Hello Kitty thumb drive on the web but a pity it is only 256MB storage space. Way too small I must say…

Tokidoki LeSac BagI am in the media advertising line, hence I receive all the magazines from the various publishers. And I was browsing through one of them and came across the name ‘Tokidoki’ which is a sensitive word for me as I love the website http://www.tokidoki.com.tw/ which is engulfed by beautiful graphics & charming characters…. And of course, romantic love stories that we can view on their site. (Strongly recommended to take a look)

I don’t believe this Tokidoki is related to that ‘Tokidoki’ but anyway, I thought the design was lovely by the way.

LeSportsac apparently has teamed up with Italian designer Simone Legno whom was the founder of the brand ‘Tokidoki’ (which meant ’sometimes’ in japanese) to incorporate very cute cartoon characters & designs onto bags & accessories.

In addition, each individual bag or accessory would also be accompanied by a Qee character key chain specially designed by Toy’R'Us; further enhancing the value of considering them as a collection.

Keen to see them in person?

From what I know, you can find them either in Takashimaya level 2 or Isetan Scotts level 1 (Singapore). Started selling since Feb 2006.

Hello Kitty

GUESS WAT???
This is the exact headline that I came across in an article in Business 2.0 April 2006 issue.
INTERESTING!!!

A japanese staffing firm wants to add front-desk personnel to the list and henceforth, in February this year, the Nagoya based People Staff launched a service called ‘Robot Dispatch’ for US$424 a month, or put in in retro-spect, 1/6 the cost of one of the firm’s human temps - Japanese companies can now rent an eletronic receoptionist shaped like Hello Kitty! (See picture)

Hello Kitty ReceptionistThis Hello Kitty receptionist is manufactured by Business Design laboratory, also based in Nagoya. It is a 20 inch tall Hello Kitty Robo which can recognize up to 10 faces, ask visitors to speak their names, and tell them when the person they have come to see is ready. They can also store 20,000 conversation patterns, songs, riddles and the robot is arguably more entertaining than many real attendants! (Well, it is a novelty I am sure it would be popular, at least for now…)

However, this new robot may be a good thing for the service available in Japan as most companies & corporations do not have a person at the reception.

Hmmm…

Wonder if they have a Kitty robot that does cleaning & ironing…..
