Hide and Seek with Kitty and Friends Exhibition Singapore’06 will feature Hello Kitty memorabilia from the 1970’s as well as contemporary works of art by international artists and designers, whose works reflect the contemporary interpretation of the spirit and essence of Hello Kitty in the form of fashion, music, and motion graphics.

Then I heard that there will be several zones, visitors will get to experience different aspects of Hello Kitty! Oh yeah!

Hello Kitty’s Fantastical Adventure is finally coming to Singaopore… And it’s less than 2 months away!!!

This is going to be a musical type of event, great for families with kids. Definitely a great idea for the school holidays if you do not know what to do. I came across some radio advertisements about this event too, cross-partnership with Gardenia bread where upon purchase, one stands to win tickets to this event!

Pink is invading the world….

A couple of days ago I read this article in Straits Times Life Section, where they said that ‘PINK’ will be the hottest color for home decor next year 2007! Haha… Then my frenz whom saw that article too came to me & said: ” Stella (My real name), you have the latest color in your house eh!” Hahaha…

Anyway, that’s beside the point.

Yesterday, I came to this wonderful place for dinner @ Paradiz Centre (Singapore).
My bf brought me to ths Japanese restaurant 聚聚 restaurant, beside the Tao Restaurant. VERY NICE food & I must say, excellent service… Strongly recommend you to visit it too.

Then… beside the restaurants, there is this music store that sells instruments…
Right at the store display, is one whole collection of Daisy Rock Guitars!!! ALL PINK GUITARS!!!

Do visit their website. They have tonnes of variety of pink guitars for you to choose from and the more ‘happening’ ones, they are available at the store at Paradiz Centre.

It’s a damn cool club!

Previously I’ve written about this collectible Hello Kitty Guitar worth S$33,000. Then I chance upon the Hello Kitty Guitar Club website and found out these whole lots of information for the guitar & Kitty lovers.

On this website, they will also teach you how to play the guitar and how to take good care of the Hello Kitty Guitar. They set up this Fender Players’ Club for all those whom had bought the Hello Kitty Guitar to join.

What you see here being featured is the Hello Kitty Stratocaster Guitar (The pink one). It is based on a classic Fender design.

I attended an internal presentation on the new digital media updates & came across this very interesting & interactive campaign ran by Pirates of the Carribean when they launched the movie world-wide.

All you need to do is:

You will be able to view a very interesting clip on Pirates of the Carribean & play some short games!

I’m sure you must have heard about the famous 士林夜市 at Taipei, Taiwan.

Love that place… As I’ll definitely be able to find my strawberry 冰糖葫芦 there! NT$40 per stick which is usually about 3 strawberries & 1 mini tomato… (Argh!!! Thinking about it makes me drool…)

And to think that one can find soooo many Hello Kittys at the Shilin night market! 

I went on a weekend hence shilin night market was filled with lots of activities. The side roads are all staged with stalls, just like Singapore’s Basar Malam. You find lots of games available for children to adults to play and one stand to win very attractive prizes! Amongst all these, I found so many of the stalls giving away Hello Kitty prizes!

Then I found a big crowd sitting around big tubs of water, with live prawns, goldfish & tortises for fishing!!! It was really a very interesting site. And for the live prawns that you managed to fish up, they will BBQ on the spot fresh for you to eat!!!
