In fact, the Chinapoint store that I’ve introduced earlier before carries them!
The store carries both the big one & the hand-carry size. The prices start from $169 if I remember correctly. But they are sooooo pink & pretty that I can’t bear to buy & use them…

But the best part about it is that the design is also in-line with the latest avaiable technology, in terms of luggage bag structure. These also come with 360 degree rotation wheels… Thank god!

Have you heard about Singapore COMEX show?

It is a huge IT show annually in Singapore & I love it every time. (I love gadgets & technology) I’m so glad that this year they are having it at the Singapore Expo which is sooo near my house, well, & the halls are much bigger. (Usually it is held at the Singapore Suntec City Convention hall. I went immediately on their launch day last thursday and boy it was crowded. But given the Expo is so much more spacious, it was a very enjoyable trip.

Now in my new company, I’m given a laptop to use. Hence I was looking around for a nice nice laptop carrier. (I dun wanna carry the ugly & heavy IBM laptop bag that comes along with it).  Well, it is afterall an IT show, you can’t expect much for designs & variety for the laptop bags.

Fortunately, I came across this particular store that carries this Metstyle brand! Well at least their designs are something very different & unique, unlike the usual laptop bag / carrier that one would expect.

I saw this quilted/bling bling laptop protective bag (SGD $49) and was very tempted to buy but I cannot remember the size of my IBM laptop, not sure if it will fit. Hence I’m going back tonight to COMEX to buy it. (I’ve brought back my laptop from the office to work today)

But I also wanted a proper laptop bag where I can keep the cables & mouse in it too. So… I went to their website to take a look at their range. Boy…. I am soo impressed with the website! It’ soooo beautifully done & very targetted at the ladies. I was looking through the range, I thought I like this pink one. For the bags, I’m going to check out the actual look & feel at COMEX.

I am in the media advertising line, hence I receive all the magazines from the various publishers. And I was browsing through one of them and came across the name ‘Tokidoki’ which is a sensitive word for me as I love the website http://www.tokidoki.com.tw/ which is engulfed by beautiful graphics & charming characters…. And of course, romantic love stories that we can view on their site. (Strongly recommended to take a look)

I don’t believe this Tokidoki is related to that ‘Tokidoki’ but anyway, I thought the design was lovely by the way.

LeSportsac apparently has teamed up with Italian designer Simone Legno whom was the founder of the brand ‘Tokidoki’ (which meant ’sometimes’ in japanese) to incorporate very cute cartoon characters & designs onto bags & accessories.

In addition, each individual bag or accessory would also be accompanied by a Qee character key chain specially designed by Toy’R'Us; further enhancing the value of considering them as a collection.

From what I know, you can find them either in Takashimaya level 2 or Isetan Scotts level 1 (Singapore). Started selling since Feb 2006.
