SmileyThere are actually quite a lot of Hello Kitty Games around. I myself love the Xbox Hello Kitty Game - Roller Rescue. Although it is a very kiddy game… But I find it very entertaining to play my favorite character, Hello Kitty in a game and she goes around on her roller skates to save her friends like Little Twin Stars, Badtz Maru, etc…
Smiley Very very kawaii…

    MICROSOFT XBOX HELLO KITTY GAME
XBox Hello Kitty Game Roller Rescue

Hello Kitty: Roller Rescue is a video game of the action-adventure genre released in 2005 by XPEC / Namco Hometek. It can be used for Microsoft XBox, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo GameCube and home PC (Both Microsoft & Macintosh)
To prepare for this launch of the new Hello Kitty XBox game, microsoft even launched an exclusive limited edition Sanrio XBox with it.
A Hello Kitty Crystal Xbox was released with Sanrio in Singapore, to commemorate the release of the game on the Xbox. The special edition console was translucent with a pink and orange Hello Kitty picture covering the X on top of the case.

A limited production run of 550 units was sold at a retail price of S$99 (US$61), if you purchase selected Samsung LCD TVs during a promotion. Included with the Hello Kitty Crystal console was a matching Crystal Controller S and of course, a copy of Hello Kitty Mission Rescue.

Hello Kitty Crystal XBoxDid I get one?

No, sadly I wasn’t in time to get 1 unit. (Darn) All the stores sold out then and I do not need a LCD TV leh….

Show you some of the screen shots of the game. Really very cute, and fun, and an easy game.

台北的士林夜市

The vibrant Shilin Night Market

I’m sure you must have heard about the famous 士林夜市 at Taipei, Taiwan.

Love that place… As I’ll definitely be able to find my strawberry 冰糖葫芦 there! NT$40 per stick which is usually about 3 strawberries & 1 mini tomato… (Argh!!! Thinking about it makes me drool…)

Shilin Market with Hello KittyShilin Market with Hello KittyAnd to think that one can find soooo many Hello Kittys at the Shilin night market!

I went on a weekend hence shilin night market was filled with lots of activities. The side roads are all staged with stalls, just like Singapore’s Basar Malam. You find lots of games available for children to adults to play and one stand to win very attractive prizes! Amongst all these, I found so many of the stalls giving away Hello Kitty prizes!

Shilin Market - People fishing prawns

Fishing for tortoises

Then I found a big crowd sitting around big tubs of water, with live prawns, goldfish & tortises for fishing!!! It was really a very interesting site. And for the live prawns that you managed to fish up, they will BBQ on the spot fresh for you to eat!!!

If you are keen about the night markets in Taiwan, you can visit the website link to explore more.

Eric Kot (柯民辉) left & Jan Lamb (林海峰) right are the 2 Hong Kong celebrities that had been invited to design their own KittyBricks. Eric designed the Kitty with the black top & his own 4As logo. Jan designed a ‘3omething’ with 3 dots (It’s a slang reading similar to the cantonese they speak) Both designs also come in 400% sizes too!

Now…

In mypinkroom, you can see all kinds of Hello Kitty items that I adore… I know that we could literally live a ‘Hello Kitty’ lifestyle if we want, weaving into the Hello Kitty phenomenon, living, eating & breathing it…. But it still came as a big big surprize when I found this picture…

Hello Kitty Majong Set!!!

Now how’z that for a game with your friends?!?!?!

In the asian countries, majong is a very well-received game. Even though, it is typically & skeptically viewed as a gambling hobby, usually practised by the ‘uncles’ & ‘aunties’…

But I must stand up for the originator of this game. It is actually a very very intellectual game. Not only does it challenge your analytical skills, it also tests your memory; your ability to ‘intimidate’ your 3 other opponents; your determination & strength to withold yourself not to win a game, by deterring others to win when your tiles are really beyong hope.

Majong is a wonderful game. According to some, played on a healthy level regularly actually stimulates your brain activities & can help to prevent the Parkinson’s Disease (I hope I spelled it correctly)

Back to the Kitty Tiles…

Now can someone make out which are the bamboos, which are the circles & which are the wan-zi???

Majong majong...
