This is Mitsubishi’s i “Princess Kitty” Hello Kitty limited edition, and limited is ONE piece.

The Princess Kitty is finished in pink, with matching paint applied to the wheels. The Hello Kitty trademark ribbon logo is applied to the front doors and roof, while the rear doors get a “Princess Kitty” graphic with the lovable cartoon character’s face. The back window also gets a large Hello Kitty face decal. The sideview mirrors feature Hello Kitty’s face in relief.

Inside, occupants rest on pink-and-white striped seatcovers adorned with the “Princess kitty” logo. The headrest covers are the shape of Hello Kitty’s head, complete with ribbon on the left ear.

Accordingly to information from autoblog.com, this car was a one-off special at the Mitsukoshi department store in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi district during July 25th - 31st 2006. As there is only ONE car, all the interested buyers will have to register and one lucky buyer will get to buy the car for ¥2,100,000 (About US$18,200) — 200,000 of which goes to Japan’s UNICEF.

Tickets on sale at all outlets, Ticket Charge and hotline +65 6296 2929 from Sep 18!

This event is coordially organized by the Downtown East, hence you may also check their website for more information.

This is going to be a musical type of event, great for families with kids. Definitely a great idea for the school holidays if you do not know what to do. I came across some radio advertisements about this event too, cross-partnership with Gardenia bread where upon purchase, one stands to win tickets to this event!

Singapore has just launched a new complimentary tabiod papers called <我报>

It’s a very light & refreshing read, if only they can minimize the gossipy content, this would have been a fantastic papers! As I mentioned before, I am in media & advertising. When I attended the trade launch of this papers, the positioning of this papers is fantastic. The presence of this paper can really fill in the gap that was missing… Haiz… Wad happen???

Oops.. Sorry… Side-tracked too much…

Okie… I talked about <我报> because this article was from there, in fact yesterday’s papers.

Just like my subject header… There are some very wealthy collectors around the globe whom would pay such money!!! ( Ohhhhhhhh YES I WOULD TOO!!! If I have the money….. )

$2.52m Yen Hello Kitty Guitar $1.05m Yen Hello Kitty Mint

This is a Sanrio electric guitar… Guess how much it is worth…

Don’t jaw-drop. It was sold at $2.52 million yen, a SGD$33,000 guitar!

The collection of the coins are also accquired at a hefty price.

This is a box of Hello Kitty one-ounce silver coins coated with gold. They are actually minted by the Perth Mint Bureau.

The picture was taken in Japan, when they were on display for an event at the Tokyo Mitsukoshi department store. They were on sale for a price of $1.05 million yen (Whopping SGD$14,385)

Wedding014.jpg

For the absolute Hello Kitty lovers… Do you want a wedding, the kitty way?!?!?!

Wedding015.JPGI have seen such weddings in the monthly The Stawberry News and I really thought that was simply amazing…. Imagine if I do that in Singapore! That will be a first… Hahahaha…. I’m sure to make it to Straits Times home front page! Kekeke….

Now seriously… Some background on this Hello Kitty Wedding package. The Hankyu Daiichi Hotel chain has a Kitty package. The hotel’s standard Hello Kitty package is a stuffed Hello Kitty bell boy. But if you happen to love Hello Kitty as much as (or more than) your fiancee, you can get both (fiancee and Hello) to lead you down the aisle.

Apparently, you can order a Hello Kitty theme wedding package at Daiichi, which includes “Hello Kitty” and “Dear Daniel” character escorts for the ceremony, plus more Hello Kitty merch than you can shake a plastic paw at: ring pillows, place cards, bouquets–you name it.
